Last night in New York! Tomorrow we're moving on to New England. I wanted to try capture some light trails. I wasn't 100% happy with any of them, having the wrong tripod with me didn't help, but I think that this one was the best. I will remember New York as everything being huge, hot and humid! I will remember the steam pillars coming out of the ground and how throughout the city, there is something for everyone. I will never forget how happy and friendly all the people are, they randomly approach you in the street if they see you holding a map and offer their services, and if you smile at them, they almost always smile back! I will also never forget how huge all the food is there and how much the price of living costs!!! It's extortionate!!! Lastly, I think that I will always remember the hot dog stands and Starbucks' which seem to be on every single corner! New York was a great place to visit, I'm so lucky to have had the chance to go and I've seen some great stuff, however, I do think that, given the choice, I would much prefer to live in wet and rainy, country England then NYC!!!
On a side note, I've been trying to reply to all of your comments but haven't had a chance to catch up on the site generally, as soon as I get time and faster internet, I will catch up with everyone!!!
Nice light trail picture. I was going to do this in Chicago when I was there but I have no view out of my hotel window. Have fun in New England, you will enjoy it here also.
Those are some of the things I remember about NY! It was so humid the filter on my lens fogged up and I had to take it off, so I wouldn't have hazy photos. lol
I really like this picture. it came out really well. I love these sort of pictures!
haha and I agree with you on everything about NewYork. and given the choice, I definitely would rather live in England. :p
Have fun in New England! :D
this is a great picture - really captures the energy and excitement of a big city. Have a great time in New England (that's where I live - it's fantastic!)
