This is what I wanted... sitting relaxing with happy, contained dogs. What I’m feeling totally overwhelmed by this morning, is the amount of work that still needs to be done, just in terms of earthworks 😱 (Gave up after filling the large red tub you can see, and a couple of buckets...)
Well even just the planning is a great start. The main thing is you have happy, contained dogs which means you can relax knowing they are safe and won't be run over in the street...
It doesn't all have to be done at once - though that's probably a fatal attitude. Can you get some organic matter into the soil with horse manure or spent grain from breweries?
@anniesue A little each day! I moved a lot this afternoon when it cooled down. And I’ll definitely build up the soil when I decide where I’m going to plant...
@beckyk365 it’s happening slowly! I’ve moved most of the soil with some help from Sean, a neighbour chopped down the last of the mandarin yesterday and I’ve got all the pavers I need to make a path. I’m going to rope Sean into helping me with that 🤞🏼😄
