Pentatomoidea

Commonly known as Shield bug or Stink bug, but I have always called them Leafy bugs because they look like a leaf from above.

Found this one on a daffodil, I thought he would just fly off when I put my hand near him but it immediately walked forward on to it.

OB watched him walk round his hand for a few mins, took him in and showed mummy then put him back in the grass.

I'll post another shot from above. Kristin (@kayday) this looks similar the one you found, maybe the same family.

Oh I never knew what these bugs were called, we named them toadies as a child LOL Love how he has it in his hand and is scrutinising it
