Wedding Rings

On our first wedding anniversary Fiz (@fiz) and I decided to get new rings and have done so each year thereafter. These are rings number 13.

Fiz designed them and I made them.

I'm too sentimental and have had the same set on since we wed so it wouldn't work for me but I love your idea... such an interesting concept - why did y'all decide on the first anniversary to get new rings anyway?
