After camera club tonight I raced down to the bridge on the Thames at Marlow to take a picture of the church. I got all set up and was about to press the release button when the floodlights all around the church went off. Blinded by the dark. I stood completely dumbfounded. Once my eyes had recovered I took this picture with a much longer exposure using the residual ambient light. I was annoyed about missing the floodlights. Another night maybe. This one will have to do in between times.

Oh, I see what you mean! Thank you for the idea but sadly I'll have to leave it to you lucky folks who have heads for heights. Yes, I'm really that bad at them! :-(
@dulciknit - Actually this was taken on the pavement at the join with the bridge, so not even on the bridge properly, right next to the stanchion. So no height involved. I have cropped it in a bit to cut out some foreground, but otherwise taken SOOC and behind a four-foot barrier on the road-side. Easy and fun!
