Clarity is because of... Great tripod with geared precision head; Auto-Focus off, image stabilisation off, mirror lock-up mode, three different lighting components, 10 second exposure, great macro lens and over 70 shots. Practice, practice, practice... Did I mention it helps to practice? [Grin].
