French Windmill

I dedicate this shot to my friend John who has a 'thing' about windmills.

I was asked where this picture was taken... here are the details:
Ancien Moulin de Moidrey
50170 Pontorson, France.
The windmill is on a hill top. From there you can see the Mont Saint Michel about five miles to the North.

It's the time of year for baling hey and so we seen them eveywhere in the country..your picture of the bales is extra nice because of the beutiful windmill which we hardly ever get to see here.

My school art teacher always used to nag us to stand back from our work and others' paintings, so it's something I tend to do with photos too and it's really worth doing it with this 'cause then you get the full impact of the sense of distance in the shot. Probably why the thumbnail's so striking too.
