@stcyr1up - In the UK we call them a Grandfather clock. It stands at over six feet tall. It is 140 years old and belonged to my grandfather.

Great example of making your title work for you. The subdued lighting, the time showing and the angle come together with the title, set the scene and convey a sense of tension.
(Beautiful clock. I's age explains the use of IIII instead of IV, I think?)

@netkonnexion That's what I thought. Here, we use both terms. We have one that was my wife's great grandmothers, from Germany. The face is hand painted and signed 1753. 40 years ago, I replaced the wooden gear works with a Westminster chime steel and brass works, but kept the original face. Love these clocks.
