How wonderful for you - and what a great compliment! Looking at your image I can see why he wanted to paint it - it's just great. His painting does it credit - very nice!
I remember the original very well and what a great compliment that someone wanted to paint from it. Beautiful interpretation.
I looked at the arist's other paintings too - lovely work!
@olivetreeann - Thanks Ann. That's one of the reasons I posted it here. It all works quite nicely. I enjoyed it too. Hope you are well. Thanks for stopping by.
@netkonnexion I'm doing well, thank you! Finishing up my second term as president of the photo club and then will take some time off from the responsibilities but still be active in the club. Hope all is well with you too!
@olivetreeann - Doing well here too. Working hard. But then who does not work hard these days!
I too am active at club level. I run the workshops at my club, also on the local regional committee, and an active regional photo-competition judge. I judge comps about twice a month. That's all besides running a blog and a business. Not much time off!
What a special way to have your photo immortalised.
Truly lovely. The original photo is gorgeous.
(I was asked today by someone if they could make a print of one of my photos. I have been told I could sell some of my photos but wouldn't know where to start.)
