Umm, I'm wondering about the blue of the sky again (remember this: https://365project.org/netkonnexion/365/2019-04-11 ?), I'm seeing it as almost a lapis lazuli hue. Maybe it's a question of differing perceptions?
Anyhoo, the minimalistic composition is strong; the diagonal line where the field and trees meet creates a pleasing leading line to the people. The autumnal hues are pretty too.
Hope you're OK?
@dulciknit - Interesting. Actually the sky had a little haze I removed, but it was a stunning Winter day and photographed here much as it was. Think I had a sky filter on for this one.
Got your email. I promise to get back to you soon. I am well. Hope you are both well too.
@netkonnexion Hello there! Glad to hear you're well; we're fine thank you.
Thank you for the explanation. Ah, that suggests it is a matter of colour perception; my idea of even a deep blue sky in England is one which has a little but perceptible green or cyan in it.
Er, haven't sent an e-mail since the short one back in December that was a sign-off to a quick catch up thread but it'd be cool to have a bit of a ramble (I remember one on the topic of the subconscious was mooted) and another catch-up. Looking forward to hearing from you.
( thanks for visit and nice comment)
merry Christmas, Damon, and all the best of the season. stay well and safe.
