Yestderday you saw...

Yesterday lots of people got the answer. So not a difficult one. Bythe way [LOL] it was NOT a 'thingy'... ROFL.

It was in fact the male side of a "Parallel Printer Cable - IEEE 1284".
(Sorry for being a bit nerdy about the details. I worked in Information Technology for many years. Believe me you would not want to know the full details about this plug as it is a special design, but you can't tell from the piccy).
