More about "Identify This"... http://365project.org/netkonnexion/number03/2011-05-11

Previously, in ID This No. 148...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a chisel. A simple wood cutting chisel. Used to cut wood for joints, turning wood on the lathe... Thats it. Simple!
Honorable mentions...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Arthur Loosley - Is this a wood-turning tool? Net says:-->> Its a Chisel. It cuts wood etc... Yeaaaaha!

Shirley Chetwynd - ummm is it a chisel,you know to chisel away the time when you have time. Net says:-->> Now we got the full story! Yee ahahhhh!

Peggy Sirk - I'm stumped... Net says:-->> You are on the right track! A stump. Its wood. You cut bits out of it with a chiesl... LOL.

Brian Buccigrossi - Business end of a wood chisel. Net says:-->> Yeehyaaaa! Correctomundo.

Rick Schies - dooma higgy is an old Pa Dutch term. Net says:-->> Well, I had never heard that. Cool. Thanks. A new one for me.

Marna - To me it looks like the end of one of the ''arms'' of a scissors!? Net says:-->> Oooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!

Mike Warren - Was hoping it was a silver bar for you; but it looks like a wood chisel. Net says:-->> Yeah! Bad news eh? I wanted to get rich too! a "Doohicky Award!" Yaheee!

june milner - Do chisels cut? must be a 1900s razorblade. Net says:-->> Sure do! Hard and deep! LOL. If you shaved with that it would take your face off! Wow! Thats gotta hurt. Hee hee!

Alison Bailey - It looks like a blade down the side edge, so I don't think it's a chisel. That's as good as it gets from me :'-( Net says:-->> Nope, cuts only on the leading edge! Wow. Cut your fingers off if you tried to use it as a chisel and it was sharp on three sides. Whof! Painful!

Sue Wilde - I'd say a guillotine if I could spell it. Net says:-->> I'd spell guillotine if I could say it! LOL. Nice try.

Thanks for your visit and all your comments I enjoy them all. Hope to see ya soon!

Definitely an artists' mannequin, looking mainly at its left shoulder joint. My daughter used to have one. A mannequin, I mean, not a left shoulder joint. She's still got that.

I'm so sorry to hear that you and your family are going through such a difficult and worrying time. Thinking of you and them. Hugs xx

I love your perspective for this shot.. just gives the figure a sense of carrying a weight on its shoulder.
