Sunset by newbank

Sunset

For my architecture theme with my mentoring group. Not had chance to get out of village with kids being at school to find some architecture so went for the biggest building in the village. Thoughts and opinions welcome. Shot it from various angles. This seemed the best perspective. Are my walls straight? What do if they are not?

Strange, these both look darker on ipad than on laptop. Normally I like things better on ipad but this time prefer them on my laptop!
B and W version if interested...

Lovely composition, light.

That looks like such a beautiful building, the back wall especially. I love it.

The mood you've created here is just wonderful. You've taken the concept of architecture to the level of telling a story -- the gravestones, dark clouds, and the imposing building. I think it's a great contribution to the architecture theme. Re the composition, there's a bit of distortion that is a little distracting. Have you a program that would allow you to adjust? If not, you might look into PT Lens which was very inexpensive.

Lovely shot. The color version better shows the age of the building. The BW version shows off the beauty of the building.
