Not so keen on this one Ruth as you seem to have lost the clarity. I think you have focused just in front of the scone here and at F/2.8 you have a very shallow dof. I am not sure if changing the exposure would give you this soft effect. Still a mouthwatering shot!!

i definitely prefer this one... although i can't quite articulate why... the other one hurts my eyes (really!) and confuses them as they aren't sure whether to look at the strawberries or the scone... this more muted version is much easier on the eyes, and quite scrumptious looking to boot :)

I like both shots, but I think I prefer the pov and comp in this one. the colours are so pretty and the whole thing makes me think of an English tea party (no political implications!). Fav.

Another beauty but I think I prefer the angle and clarity of version 1. For some reason (I'd read this was the case), food looks more appealing straight on. But, this one still makes me want to reach out and nibble.
