Stars in her eyes "artistic rendition"

photo 71
I moved the original to my third album I had a fellow 365er comment
that just the eye itself was a better shot (which I was originally going to put up) then changed my mind. http://365project.org/newbie/for-those-days/2012-04-23">

Brilliant!!! This is a FAV if I ever saw one! :-)

@cromwell Well thanks...but the other one is still proving to be better liked. I like both and I thank you for encouraging me to edit this and put it up.

I like this one best. I love that the star in her pupil is more pronounced. Very creative idea!

@cmc1200 Yeah, I thought of that after I processed the other one and was too lazy to go back and do it to that one too ;)
@sunnygreenwood @worthon Thank you!

ok... to me, they are two very different concepts and shots... i think overall i like this one better... it is quite fantastical in a way... like something you would see on the cover of a fantasy novel... the other one is more like dress-up... it's also very cute, but not quite as extraordinary, and in some ways, the concept of what you're trying to do isn't quite as clear (if that makes any sense at all :p)

Stacey the original image was perfect, DoF,compostion, catch light and processing make the original strong. All of you images have stong eye contact which is perfect. As for moving it due to an unasked for critique well :)

I would stick to the wonderful work and personal judgement you have shown throughout your project. I do like the other one more now that you asked :P it was perfect.

Very clever - just saw this on the PP - well done!

So clever. Found on the PP and had to come and fav. I prefer this shot. It had me wondering how the star was created (therefore a little bit of mystery which is good) The other shot is a wonderful memory shot but there's almost too much info handed to you on a plate...if you see what I mean? I love this shot. Great work xx

@flagged I thank you for your opinion it is much apprieciated. I moved it only because I had initially edited it to this in a similar way, then changed my mind and didn't put it up. After the comment from Cromwell...whom I really like by the way, I went back and changed it. I liked both versions because they were so different, and judging by the comments here, many people like the different images for different reasons. So win, win. But yes you are right I should likely stick with my gut. In this case it was difficult. But hey, it's on the pp...first time I've seen myself there :)

@northy Hey! It was hard to decide, and it seems like people like both versions for different reasons. "It's not clear what you are trying to do here." Is it ever? Lol....I think I was just trying to isolate the eye here and pop the reflection in the pupil. No great magic.

@kerristephens @ulpiphotos @dishaparekh176 @paintdipper @bobbyj @limpet365 @psychographer Wow! Thank you all so very much I am stunned I am on the pp..apparently this isn't the first time, but I have never seen it with my own eyes (or in this case one eye ha ha). I really apprieciate all the comments, critiques and Favs!

@cromwell He he...Well Cromwell, your fine judgement helped me get on the pp.

i actually meant that the concept in the other photo isn't quite as clear... regardless, it is true, different people have different opinions - and thank heavens for that 'cos it would be a boring universe otherwise ;p
