Snake in the grass

Took a little trip to Algonquin Park today, and snapped over 200 photos...Yikes! Saw this common garter snake slithering through the grass. Got some great pics of him, he was curious of the camera and as the camera got closer, it got closer and started flicking it's tongue, but unfortunately I was not fast enough to catch it!
