Trying to practice taking low key portraits. I think this is on the right lines but feedback and advice would be very welcome.

I'm no expert at portraiture, I've not done any since my college days (a long time ago!) but I rather like the lighting on this one, does Eleanor like it? That's the most important thing.

Nice shot - did you use an added light source or just the natural light?

i see what your are attempting to do nick, it's good nick, but i think the right hand side of the frame is too dark , you need to be able to see the details
