Moon Craters

The air ambulance was called to an accident this evening. I went out on the deck to try and get a photo of it but failed dismally so took a few shots of the moon instead. This is pretty much SOOC - just cropped a little bit. Probably looks better on black
Fantastic detail - my moon shots are absolute rubbish

Great capture, hard to get the detail on the moon & you managed perfectly! Hope accident wasn't bad!

@fbailey @onewing @joemuli @susiemc @gijsje @phil_howcroft Thanks very much - just had the camera on auto for this one and it came out better than the shots using the Moon setting.
@happypat I hope not too. Apparently someone in the retirement village got run over by a golf cart - although how that happened at about 9.45pm I'm not sure.

@suzanne234 @joysabin @agedrunner @rickster549 @taffy @kwind @chimfa Thanks very much. I've noticed a few moon shots on here over the last day or so and they're the opposite way round to mine. Must be because I'm in the southern hemisphere but I didn't realise the moon was upside down or back to front or whatever it is down here!

@888rachel Thanks Rachel. Although I haven't changed it, it's full colour -
it came out of the camera this way :)
