When I was out walking the dogs the light became quite soft and golden. I then spent an inordinate amount of time taking photos of the sunset. But after all that I liked the very first picture I took (this one) the most! It is pretty much SOOC apart from straightening it slightly and then having to sharpen it a fraction to compensate for the straightening. The colours and light are just as they were - really beautiful.
Rowdy was running around while I was taking pics and suddenly there was a huge splash because he'd walked into the overgrown grass on the bank and fallen over the edge into the river... stoopid pooch! Gave himself a bit of a shock that's for sure. Meanwhile my beautiful Tilly waited patiently nosing around close to me.
@alfredrico Thanks Alfred. It's down by the dragway on the Mercer to Rangiriri leg of the Te Araroa Trail. I have permission from the farmer to walk across the fields rather than having to stick to the walkway.
