We went to Kariotahi Beach with the dogs for a change. As it was a dull grey showery day I thought it would be nice and quiet but it wasn't. There were still loads of cars and motorbikes racing up and down the beach which weren't the best for a peaceful walk with the dogs. I think I'll stick to Port Waikato beach as it's normally quieter.
Lovely - yes, this beach seems to be busy all the time now. Even first thing in the morning there’s people around (although a lovely time to see galloping and harness training for horses).
