Halladay's Tearooms

Bedford Place, Southampton.

They make the best bacon sandwiches, and lunches and afternoon teas. It's a good thing I'm busy at work or I would live in here and be the size of house by now! 'Small' and 'portions' are not words they use together.

For my Get-Pushed this week Jody @jehill1159 challenged me "In honor of the greasy spoon, local 'cuisine', and the summer road trip season, take an interesting photo of a local eating establishment". I knew instantly that it would be Halliday's because I've been eyeing those red and white teapots for ages thinking 365....365...365!!

We went for lunch yesterday and I sized up the shots I wanted, and went back today just as they were laying up for tomorrow. It was empty, they were delighted and I came one step closer to conquering my photographing in public fear! I promised to send them a copy. I do hope they like it!
