New toy

Been away from 365 for a little while.
Needed some time doing other things.
Have still been taking pictures though and have even been on the Park Cameras get to know your Canon 5D Mark III day course. Brilliant, really brilliant!

For my birthday a little while ago I got the Camranger. Clever little box of tricks that allows you to control the camera through iPhone or iPad. Really easy to use, plug in, download the software and away you go!

Unless of course you then suffer an unexplained loss of visitors to the bird food.......lots of waiting and only about three shots with a bird in it. Managed this one though, not a bad first effort! At home with a flu bug today and will be again tomorrow so I can sit in my sick bed and wait for the little birdies!

There has definitely been a noticeable drop in the numbers of small garden birds recently - we have loads of jackdaws and pigeons in our garden - even the occasional woodpecker, but very few little guys like this. Nice to see they're still around
