I treasure books by nicolecampbell

I treasure books

I love to read. It is one of my favourite things to do. I treasure my books and it takes a lot for me to lend my vast collection to friends. They have to be returned in the same condition I lent them.

These are some of the books on my tbr pile. I have set myself a target of 50 books this year.
Unlike you I’m a slow reader!
Last week I finished where the crawdads sing and over Christmas- the little Paris bookshop
Different genres but both excellent reads

Me, too - I treasure books, too! And I love Markus Zusak as an author and have several of his books. I have a pre-pub copy of Bridge of Clay! I like your black and white processing that keeps a rhythm amidst the many colors of book covers.

I have quite a collection of books too. I don't read fiction but love biographies. My current book is With My Little Eye by Sandra Hogan.

I do lend my books to friends but have learnt the hard way to keep track of them. I have an exercise book and when I lend a book I write the persons name and the title of the book in the exercise book and when they return it I cross it out. Works perfectly, I don't lose track of books these days

@onewing Very methodical! I just moved home 200+ boxes of. books from my university office I closed out so I'm living in the middle of a storage unit, it seems. I should lend books and ask people NOT to bring them back to me.

@brigette I have read both of those books and really enjoyed them. If you want something that will keep you on the edge of your seat I recommend American Dirt. It took my breath away from the very first page.

Love this!!! And I feel the same. Always reading and I have stopped letting friends borrow my books as they rarely are returned.

You can't beat a real book.

This is a spectacular photo of your past time! I love it in black-and-white as it creates a uniformity to the shot.
