Day 334, Year Two by nicolecampbell

Day 334, Year Two

Last week I bought a shabby chic green chair because I feel in love with it as soon as I saw it and because I thought it would make a great photo prop.

I have had mixed reactions to my new chair and my youngest daughter thinks it is old and ugly. I don't believe her and I know that it is going to get a lot of use.

Here is just a small portion of my shabby chair.
Well, it is a gorgeous surface with the flower on top. Beautiful together, love the composition and color!

So pretty! I love the simplicity of this shot. The flower is lovely and I love the wear in the chair!

Shabby chic is definitely a wonderful back drop for photos. The texture alone really puts a spark in the background. Add in the beautiful muted colors and there's another gem in the shot. This is so pretty. But it does take age and experience to see beauty in these things.
