Malahide Bell Tower and Chicken Yard

After spending the day at Malahide Castle and Gardens I was really disappointed to view my photos when we got back to the hotel. Perhaps it was the wet and miserable day but I think I lost my photo mojo today. No need to comment this really isn't very good.
Nice reflections

Oh, I love this one Nicole! The reflection of the tree is so clear, and I love the way you framed it.....it's almost like the crystal ball shots with the main building and trees out of focus.

Very nice composition. I think I've run into that. It's hard to be in the photographer mode all the time when you are sight seeing.

Looks like the camera focused on the foreground and was at a lower f/7 aperture. For landscapes unless you are looking for either the foreground or background out of focus for a reason, you really want to be at f/18+ so everything is in focus.

Try aperture mode and crank up the ISO if the light is low until you get to about 1/100 of a second for the exposure for handheld or just use ISO 100 if are on a tripod.

It's hard to think that far ahead when you are sightseeing because the next shot might be totally different and you want to experience your surrounding more than concentrating on the camera. I know that is my struggle.

Such a beautiful idyllic setting.

@mwarren365 thanks for your feedback Mike. I actually processed it to look like this as I didn't really like the photo but did like the reflection. I think I need a break from the tourist shots!
