Birthdays are very big events in our house, I think it is important to make the birthday person feel extra special.
Initially he asked for a caramel cake and then he changed his mind and asked for a caramel trifle. I mad the caramel cake, the caramel sauce and the custard. It is going to taste so good but quite possibly very rich too.
Gorgeous dessert. Love the way the light has given the bottom of the dish a red glow! Might I ask what sort of editing you've done on this image? I like the finished look it has.
@lyndemc Hi Denise, sorry busy weekend and I haven't been on line. I think I did a basic Lightroom edit I.e. Tweaked the exposure and then used a Nicolesy Matte 1 preset. The red glow is a layer of raspberry jelly
