Thanksgiving Cactus

This plant is so named because it blooms around American Thanksgiving in November. The scientific name is Schlumbergera. There are Christmas and Easter varieties as well.

Mine bloomed at Thanksgiving and is in full bloom again. I love have color indoors on these grey, snowy days!
