I liked how the sun hit the open blinds in my room earlier in the evening. I'm so glad the days are starting to get longer...I'm more than ready for summer to get here.
I love children's books. Occasionally, I wonder if I made the right choice in my minor (between elementary or secondary education...I picked secondary.) I LOVE the content that is taught in high schools...the books, the writing, it's all my forte. But I love children's books... Of course, when I earn my Master's Degree in Library Science, I can be a school librarian at any grade level :) I definitely believe I'll be better in the library than in the classroom. But all the same, I'm excited to start teaching in the coming days. Let's face it...students hate Shakespeare and I'm pretty confident I can make him come alive for them.
