Photo no 49. A back and white analogue shot taken with the camera I posted yesterday- the Beau Brownie. It is possible to still use brownie cameras, the Beau Brownie came in two sizes a 2a and 2 (as did all box brownies). The 2a cameras have to use re-spooled 120 film. The old metal spools are perfect fits. One spool is often found inside the old cameras. Modern film spools dont fit. The number 2 cameras can use 120 film straight out of the box - like this image. I adore the old glass lenses, this one has amazing vignetting on the corners. (a filler shot because I was away today) I love the fact that one duck is in focus just watching the others blur as they run on by.
@brittgow@noo Thank you so much. I really should stop. I am pleased to say, on a trip today to seek out new ones in Ballarat and Geelong, I came home empty handed! No new ones to be found. I actually feel quiet crappy about it.....
@aspada@mimosa@demetriceanntia@chamal Thank you all. Demetrice I think you have truly pinpointed for me what I love about black and white film. It is so honest, there is no distractions. Thank you ~:)
