I played around with gradient layers, desat and a bunch of other stuff, but this one still looked the best to my eye... wish the sky had been prettier, but I have very few opportunities to get out to the park on my own with the camera, and must take them when they arise!
@beachradish tx! yeah... the sails had me stumped... along with the rocks... tried all sorts of things to get the sails AND the rocks to stand out, without creating a hugely washed out effect... in the end just went with the preset, altho' i'm sure there's a better solution out there :)
@northy I think you did a great job ... I actually think it's the people getting in your way since they pull your eye from both the rocks and the sailboats ... your contrast is perfect, I think!
