For "get pushed" in which @orangecrush challenged me to do some alphabet photography and spell out a word... The only rule he set is that I can't use any letters - only objects that look like letters...
This was a really fun challenge... I ended up looking at things rather differently, and took many street shots that I quite liked that I probably wouldn't have otherwise taken - so a great stretch for me from several perspectives :)
The collage is not as pristine as i would have liked - i think i need to find alternates to PSE and picassa for these sorts of collages - neither seems to give me the flexibility that I needed to make this work...

Great collage - I've always wanted to try this but don't think I would have the patience to find the right letter! ;-) Regarding your question re: new business - we're focusing on environmental planning for manufacturing facilities.
When you first started this and I suggested you look at my alphabet I thought I was offering you a helping hand...well lady, you absolutely didn't need any help at all. You have been far more creative than I could ever be. You've seen letters in places that I never would and you've completed this challenge in your own inimitable style. These shots are brilliant but still very Northyesque. I wish I had half your amazing talent. Fav xx
Oh wow @Northy how have I missed your street photography in the past? Loving your work. I notice there are lots and lots if daytime shots, out and about street photography so as we move away from summer and into winter I challenge you to try a bit of night photography, can be any subject, street scene, car trails, stars, moon, but the only stipulation is that its in colour!! Good luck!
@charli321 cool! i do like nighttime photography, but rarely seem to get to it and really haven't bothered to figure out how to do it properly... so this will be a great opportunity for me to work on it! tx! (now off to check out your photos and set your challenge :D)
@psychographer awwwwww... tx Lisa! i actually remembered your letters, and i'd been watching you do the numbers earlier this month :) you are so good with the close-up and set up shots! i really enjoy watching your themes unfold! i'm not very patient when it comes to close up / set up shots, and really struggle when i'm not dealing with natural light... so i knew i'd be chasing light more than anything on this one :)

i am loving all your street shots, B&Ws, and train shots! would appreciate some tips on how you execute street shots, i always feel so self conscious with my camera. also could you explain how does one participate in get pushed challenges? thanks!
