Thank you all for your encouragement... i'm still feeling very much in a funk (to the point where i played with shaped bokeh today - see other album) - i keep hoping next week will be better...
Bet you the girl in background is screening on the phone. The bikes and shadows are great. The film hasn't come across grainy at all which I like about Ilford
Hi Northy, sorry its taken me a few days to get back to you for the get pushed challenge. I've taken a look at your album and you have some awesome street shots and lots of black and white shots. One thing missing is portraits... (and selfies but I see you've had that as a push challenge before). So this week I'm challenging you to try some candid portraits, in colour (coz I'm a colour kinda gal). I'd like to see your subject close up so if you have a long lens that would help. If your kids don't like being photographed then this is a good chance to practice on them, sneakily! Here is an article you may find helpful to get your started. http://digital-photography-school.com/11-tips-for-better-candid-photography
@kiwichick oh my... candid portraits... ok - this should be fun... i totally suck at portraits, but definitely prefer candid ones because at least i'm not annoying the subject quite so very much ;p
