Epic Fail!

Well DANG! I had this brilliant idea of pulling off three challenges with one shot... the weekly theme (DOF), my get pushed challenge (white on white - uhm - not even close) and the mundane toothbrush (missed that one by, like 5 days)... Swamped again at work, and it was either this shot, or the gerbils... gaaaaaah!

Ok - off to find some food and drown my sorrows while looking at all your lovely photos :)

Oooh, tricky. I thought that it was lightbulbs. I think you did good. Very clever take on a toothbrush. Love it when you can combine all of the themes, pushes, etc. into one shot. Not a fail, just a happy accident;-).

Very cool DoF. White-on-white is really hard - or I find it so. Everything ends up grey when I try it.

yeah, white on white is very tricky... it's all about lighting and white balance. I had slightly more success when I used the bath as a seamless backdrop and customized the white balance, but I expect you've tried that already? Good luck anyway!
