It was bothering me that i didn't have a photo for this week's Street Photography Now challenge which happens to be: "Look for clashing colours - the more lurid the better."
Then it occurred to me - Honest Eds!!!! There is no more lurid garish storefront imaginable! As I had the day off it was easy enough to get out there and take a few shots :)
Thank you for all the kind comments and feedback on my Christmas card shot... I'm still not happy with it, but not sure i have much of a chance of improving on it...
Honest Ed's is awesome....haven't been in years....I remember when he passed away (sometime in last 5 yrs I think it was) and the line ups to pay him tribute!
@wardie interesting... this is one street shot that i had thought of as being better for the colour... maybe i'll play around with it in nik sfx to see... i do wonder, however, whether there isn't enough contrast to make it work?
And yet, a very nice sympathetic capture of the gentleman with the red walker and the fatigue green jacket.
