pareidolia - the tendency to interpret a vague stimulus as something known to the observer, such as interpreting marks on Mars as canals, seeing shapes in clouds, or hearing hidden messages in music.
After spending the day looking for meaning in cracks in the walls and stains on the rug, i was reduced to smoke photography...
For "mad minute words" inspired by @spirrowshoot's project and starting to take on a life of its own... Spirrow and @violeta have played, and so has @janim...
I vaguely see birds, but what it suggests to me is a woman draped in something diaphanous. I don't *see* that, it's more an impression from the lightness and the smokiness of the, err, smoke. And yes, probably from my over active imagination :-P
@Cheesebiscuit - no, don't be silly, no one gets dressed in a sausage except the oscar myer mascot. the sausage was beside her. but this morning it's gone; maybe someone had it for breakfast. :-D the woman's still dancing though with the diaphnous shawl you gave her. i fail to see the bird either. jann's speed skater? yes, but just vaguely. @jannkc
@atooner tx Amy... if you have the right supplies, smoke shots are relatively easy... i got a push challenge to do them last fall and spent the week figuring out how to make them work... so doing them this time round was pretty straight forward...
First thing I saw was the bird. Now I can see most of the others - and the is freaking me out!
Wonderful image and fits the word stunningly; I just hope you aren't going to psychoanalyse all of our answers now!
Bird head for me, too - but to be honest, I do see a hint of a sausage there, too. :D Lol! I'm yet to try smoke shots, but perhaps I should leave it to the people who are good at it - this is lovely!
