bagged

you know when you say a word over and over and over again to the point that it ceases to have any meaning? the same goes for shooting a teabag up close 'n personal-like... for the abstract mundane challenge... without which, i can assure you, this shot would never have reason to be ;p

tx for all the wonderful comments on my selfie from yesterday...
Ooooh, it looks like a scungy dishcloth from the kitchen of 'the Young Ones' I'm expecting to see a carrot go rollerskating past in the background!

Very cool high contrasty finish.

Great light and textures!

I like the way you bring out shape and texture, and effectively remove the object from the image. BTW, I reworked the portico shot that you suggested doing in b&w and you're right. It totally changes in image. I used Nik Suite, high structure modified. Will post it eventually -- hopefully this week. Thanks for the idea.

"That's a friend of mine named Neil, that's a friend of mine named Mike... and that's a complete bastard I know named Rick."

@quixoticneophyte Thanks for that link, it really took me back. It also lead me to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_X_7TrcHGM which reminded me why I love live theatre so much.

@kaesebiscuit Cool reminder Mr B! I'd completely forgotten about 'Bottom' which reminded me of 'Filthy Rich & Catflap" somehow...

Mac
It looked like a stuffed animal part at first. No particular part. The lighting is fabuloso and the texture is great.

@kaesebiscuit @quixoticneophyte if I weren't so excruciatingly busy I'd join the conversation... Carry on! :D
