uhm... yeah... it's just been that kind of day... besides... i'm pretty sure shopping carts are a bucket list item and... oh yeah... shot with high ISO using pinhole preset in nik silver fx, so it works for my get pushed challenge too... set this week by @salemslot to do a noisy black and white shot (my interpretation - not exactly what he said)...

going to crawl under a rock now...
@salemslot - it's a tad lame, but i'm pretty sure i've done worse ;p

Do you think the high ISO is responsible for the grainyness? The trolley actually looks beautiful in this light!

@maggiemae yes - at least partially... i didn't do any noise reduction on purpose... but the pinhole preset would have added to it as well...

It's definitely an interesting trolley. We don't have them shaped like that here.

Love this. Funny how something seemingly random can trigger a feeling for someone else.Reminds me of being a newly wedWe lived near a supermarket so hubby would give me rides around the block in shopping carts.Good goofy nerdy times.Thanks for the memories! Did I mention We were only 19 and 20 so that is our excuse.lol!

@mzzhope awwwww... that's really sweet!!!

@sewsharyn really? i thought those things were pretty universal!!! what do they look like in your neck of the woods?

Aw...so sorry to hear you've had a bad day. I think the photo captures it well, actually, while still being really interesting. That looks like one very imposing basket - almost alive and a bit menacing. So interesting that it elicited such a different reaction from Hope! @mzzhope

@sewsharyn ahah! we have carts like that too... in general, we have three kinds that i can think of off the top of my head... the ones like in the link you posted, the ones like i've shown above, and then smaller two tiered ones (like above - but the bottom basket part isn't quite as big)... who knew?

@northy Very interesting indeed. I am sure that no matter what they look like they are always bloody hard to 'drive' regardless of where in the world you are.

metro? you've captured that late night vacant parking lot spooky kinda feel here. i know it, had done midnight grocery shopping before when we used to live in the farm.

@summerfield sobeys actually...
October 30th, 2013
@northy - that was my second guess. ;-)

I've never seen a double decker cart like that. I like shots of unexpected things. Nice processing, too!

Love it and spot on there!! Hope today is better for you ;) Chin up!!!
Paul.

Oh and a fave btw!! ;) ;)
October 30th, 2013
Fascinating! That cart looks lonely, left out in the cold all alone in the dark! Awww! Cool capture!
October 30th, 2013
I really like your composition here! :)

What a great idea to get us all to photograph are shopping trolleys - we definitely don't have double deckers like yours.

Fab shot

Only you could make a shot of a shopping trolly interesting.
