please wait for the train to come to a complete stop...
had trouble getting the right angle for this... may need to be viewed large... or y'know... not at all ;p
tx all for the nice comments and favs on my whitehall shot from yesterday... crazy busy running around today getting ready for Santa an' all... so must post 'n run for now...
Great black and white study -- It reminds me of a painting of people appearing and disappearing between the columns (sort of spooky), but I can't think of the artist's name.
@frankhymus tx Frank... to answer your question - no, i have not put the canon aside at all! i see both cameras (and the lenses i currently have for them) as having their uses in different situations...
nex - small, easy to toss in my bag and take everywhere... lots of megapixels means (i think) slightly better quality when playing with high ISO... i have a 17-200mm lens so lots of reach = great flexibility on the go... plus this camera has the "zillions of frames per second" functionality that is great for sports and certain set up shots (burning lightbulb and bursting balloon for example)...
canon - i have a few high quality lenses, an external flash and a remote so this camera tends to be my choice for set up shots at home, or planned photo outings... i also, at this point, still know the canon better than the nex, altho' i am working on gaining more confidence with the nex... also, and this may be just wishful thinking, but i suspect that the canon has a better chance of standing up to a bit of rain and snow than the sony...
Happy Xmas
Merry Christmas to you & yours. :)

I have been somewhat slack of late with commenting so just catching up now.
