i fear i may be fading... work is taking over my life.. this isn't a bad thing, but i am struggling a bit to find the balance and my efforts are not helped by the fact that my husband is away on business leaving me to juggle a new job and the sports schedules of three busy boys!
but photography is my happy place, so i am determined to carve out a corner for it somewhere :)
tx for the continued support... i have been more absent than present of late and i really appreciate you for hanging in there with me...
Ugh! I know what that's like. It can wear you out quickly. Take pictures when you can, post when you can, but make sure you get some rest so you don't totally wear yourself out.
This is quite a wonderful image, and very expressive. I'm sorry to hear how you are feeling but I completely understand as I am there, too. IN fact, I've been "away" so long I was started to see how much the 365 interface has changed! But like you, photography is a happy place, and 365 the community to which I am determined to return. I have hundreds -- perhaps thousands of photos from these last 6 weeks . . .
I am going through similar time problems. We just have to keep on finding the 'my time' because we love it don't we? I have decided not to stress about not having much time for commenting etc, it can't be helped sometimes. really love this shot. Fav
Great shot. Hang in there - photography makes you happy so find the time when you can and it will keep you sane for the rest of the craziness (that's my philosophy anyway !!!)
an extinguished light amidst patterns...your pictures do not require explanation, but your explanations further the specificity of context. my favorite thing here is the glowing reflection, and specks visible on the board looking ambiguously like board wear and dust or lens dust alternatively.
I just made a point of visiting your project because I haven't seen you pop up on my Home page with your usual regularity... and now I know why. Do take care not to completely run yourself into the ground - take an entire month out from here or something and come back when you feel you have a better balance in your life.. We'll all be here waiting.
"photography is my happy place" I love those words - it's how I feel but never thought of phrasing it like that. Hope the work/life balance eventually gives you time to be in that happy place. As Richard said "we'll all be here waiting."
I had fun going through your photos. It is interesting to see how you progress as a photographer. You started off with straight forward images, lots of color, and as the days go by, you delve more inwards of your creative mind and translate your ideas through more blacks and whites. I admire how you take imaginative risks. You are a fun to follow. thanx!
What a wonderful shot and goes so well with the title. It seems like you have so much on your plate and you can't do everything. Just make sure you keep photography as your fun place and don't worry if you miss days and don't have time to comment. We all understand :-)
A wonderful simple yet effective shot! Love the contrast and you sure sound busy at the moment! All the best with your busy schedule, wonderful to have photography as a break :)
Make sure you keep some time to "let your light shine" no matter how busy you are~! I don't know how you do all your great "set up" shots or processed shots when you have a job and three children....
I completely mirror your sentiments. I'm finding it very tough to get time to take any photos let alone edit and upload them but I do miss it. I hope I'll get back into it soon. Love this btw. Fav xx
This is a shot that speaks a thousand words.......it just has so much. Great smoke trail. I too struggle to make time to regularly upload hence the reason I keep going through my archives from a couple years back.
