i had 10 minutes between when the light hit the window and when i had to take a kid to lacrosse...

this started out with me aiming for a nice golden shot... but the surfeit of warmth was nagging at me, so i converted to black and white and added colder tones...

thanks for the nice feedback on my aqua shot... and the helpful comments on "thing" - which appears to have been something of a failure given that i was going for creepy rather than funny... oh well - i have some other ideas for that one - maybe i'll pull off what i am after yet...
