a view of Toronto from the Panorama Lounge on the 51st floor of the Manulife Centre... a spot i visited with @summerfield and @mara19500 who was visiting from Italy with her friend Angela... we had a fabulous evening checking out a number of our favourite shooting locations... the Panorama Lounge was a new one - tx so much to Vikki for thinking of it!
too bad that fog didn't actually roll in from the lake or this would have been five times awesome. razor's edge because everything's so sharply defined! every line, every shape, every shade. sharp and crisp! i love it!
Brilliant shot with such crystal sharp details! I'm sure you've had a great photo walk with Mara and her friend. We had such a good time when they were in Chicago.
Sorry to hear of the non cooperative sky. It looks pretty good to me. What were you requesting it should do? Lovely sharp details ... The title suits it.
@lwain tx Lindy... in the colour version the sky was a deepening blue and i wanted a bit more oomph to the black and white version... but playing with the colour sliders in Lightroom got me this odd banded / texturized result that looked messy and over-processed and i couldn't figure out why... i ended up using the gradient tool to get some tonality, but i think i should have been able to do better :)
