hey. happy new year (and Christmas) hope you had a good one. I'm still here, still same old same old. replaced photography with growing my own food, am now vegetarian (5 months) and out of work (2 weeks) so 2015 should be eventful to say the least. Teaching myself to make my own soap and writing children's stories which are turning out a bit too adult, bit too much violence. How's it going? what does 2015 hold for Northy?

@chewyteeth hi Dave... i'm doing well... switched jobs last April and have been running like 90 ever since between work and kids... photography is my happy place, but it's becoming ever more challenging to carve out the time...
sorry to hear about the job situation... hope you are able to get that sorted sooner rather than later... but good for you on the vegetarian thing... i tried once but found i couldn't make myself eat the non-meat protein - it was not a good scene...

well here in the UK we have Linda McCartney stuff, as you probably have there, which is wheat protein stuff with loads of herbs and vegetables and stuff and its super. I don't like Quorn though just because I didn't eat super processed stuff before and I'm not starting now. Yeah I think the longer a hobby, especially photography goes on the more difficult it gets because you're trying to find new material. Here's to a creative 2015!
@chewyteeth y'well, i have food issues... i can't make myself eat the mystery mixtures of "herbs and vegetables and stuff" and i don't like beans / legumes... actually, i don't like anything where the ingredients are immediately recognizable, unless i've made it myself... i suck at being a dinner guest ;p
@chewyteeth gawd - NO!!! Unless i made it, how would I know what was in it? ;p. I'm fine with stuff I need to chew, just not overly processed and stews are ok if I have a sense of what's in them... Fruit, vegetables, yogurt, chicken, fish, pasta, cheese are all good :)

January 2016 we will start our third year on 365. We really hope to make it this time with a complete group of seven active members. Right now we are only four. So we are looking for three new maniac photographers and wanted to ask you Mad Hatters "in stasis" if we could welcome someone of you in our team.
Organisation is easy: We define at the beginning of the year a list of weekly themes. Every member has "his/her" posting day within a week. The rest is fun, especially with a selfie from time to time.
So Projectx would be more than happy to welcome you. In any case I send you my best wishes and I am looking forward for your answers. (3 time "YES" would be the best answer :O))

@northy Me too, I am smiling from one ear to the other :0) With an ace account we should be able to communicate within 365. We will see. May I ask you to think about 7 themes for the new year? I do the list. There is no need to hurry, I am happy when I have it by the end of this year.
@beluga are there any "rules" around the themes? i have lots and lots of ideas... some may be too esoteric, others may be too pedestrian... but i can easily come up with a list of 7... if i don't get back to you with them shortly feel free to give me a nudge :)
