this was meant to be another one for my push challenge set by Anita (@neatz)... Anita suggested i take a silhouette of one of my boys and set it against a psychedelic colour background taken from a kaleidoscope of one of my photos or a piece of fabric or a painted backdrop - whatever comes to mind... and this could be done in post processing...
anyway, after playing around for a bit in photoshop, i hated all the colour mixes i came up with, but ended up kind of liking this... not really psychedelic, but kinda trippy, no?
the silhouette shot was taken yesterday - it was a bit trickier to get the post processing right on this one's hair ;p
the backdrop was created in PS using the halftone filter...
in case anyone is curious - i posted some instructions on how i got the silhouette and backdrop in yesterday's shot...
Wonderful, hair must have been a nightmare. Well done. Glad this got you thinking. You have achieved so much. Been doing my rainbows but nit in this league. Will post later.
This one is cool too. I like the background in yesterday's shot better, because the rays seem to radiate from your son's head, whichis right in the centre and because the strong colors contrast nicely with the dark silhouette. Pff, this is the longest comment I've written in a long time :-)
@northy at work I have ps and at home I have ps elements . I tried doing stop motion revealing each image and each time I would get two images then could not reveal next one. Also just adding an image on top of another like yours. I can edit and do effects fine but find adding layers complicated
Love these!! Great editing....you should put them up on your wall...bet the boys would love these pics of 'themselves' as opposed to the normal school portrait. fav
tx lots for this push - i've been having lots of fun with it... may try to get my oldest to pose for me tomorrow :)
