I have started to refer to these as "my boats", much to the consternation of my family who think i have finally gone and lost it... but they are pretty (well, apart from the annoying one with the leaning mast) and one day i will come up with a way to shoot them so they look different from all the previous other shots i have taken of them ;p
for some reason this image makes me think of the lyrics from the song "Horse with no Name"... which makes no sense, as this is not the desert, and there were clouds... but there were also plants and birds (well, not in this shot) and rocks and things... and sand...
The leaning mast is really important in the shot. It draws the eye.. it's the focal point and the reason for you taking it…. you just didn't 'know'… it was tacit understanding! You can get off the couch now :-)
They must be storing the beer on that one side of the boat ; ) Seriously -- Gorgeous shot - excellent processing. It feels s little lonely which is why your song choice makes perfect sense - despite no sand and plants and birds and rocks and things.
