Reading your tags I now rather wish I had that glass of winde although I was quite happy to look at this without before hand. I rather like the way that figure has turned out - looking a bit distorted and distinctly arty. Is this high contrats (now obsessed with histograms after looking at your challenge)?

@helenhall tx... according to the histogram, there is way more black than white... so - not U shaped, and so perhaps not quite classically high contrast.... but you know, i probably should stop mouthing off about this stuff because I'm by no means a technical expert ;p

Dare i suggest that you set it to the mid position..infinity only any good for very distant subjects and close up for 0.2m and a little beyond, but not much.

@yrhenwr tx! That does make sense... I do find that little setting gear a bit fiddly though...
