the blackest heart

for my get pushed challenge set by @cottiac to take an image that portrays a famous fairytale or childrens story... this feels a bit trope-y... but the concept got stuck in my head and i couldn't think of anything else...

incidentally, this is also sooc for the 52 week dogwood thing...

(not overly happy with this image but i'm not sure if editing would help, or if it just needs a complete do-over... sigh...)
