the BP pedestrian bridge

i quite fell in love with this pedestrian bridge that connects Millennium Park with Maggie Daley Park in Chicago but struggled immensely in trying to capture it's essence...

here is a link to random shots on google images which might give you a better sense of this structure...

(EXIF is off... it was actually around 7:30am... the bridge eventually got quite crowded)
I think you did a marvelous job of capturing the essence of this amazing bridge.

Wonderful B&W shot.

Probably needs a string of people to bring out the curve... although not sure what the essence was that you struggled with.

I think you got it.

Will most certainly never be in the position to judge, but you have certainly captured something rather good.

I believe that's called 'photographer bait'. :)
With about 60% of your shots now, I wonder if I could model it in Blender. You find the best shapes. ;)

@humphreyhippo thank you... that may be one of my favourite comments ever :) if there is one reason why i would learn something like blender it would be to build worlds... sadly, i just don't think i have the inmate creativity for it though...

@northy You're welcome. :)
I disagree about creativity - anyone who can make a skyline out of staples has got it. ;)

Fav! Love the use of black and white. You've got an interesting perspective of the Prudential Building and you've captured my FAVORITE BUILDING (used to be called the Smurfit Stone Building. No idea what they call it now, Chicago is notorious for re-naming things. It's the building with the diamond looking top).
