spent this evening working on my push challenge (without making any real progress unless you count the fact that i've figured out my first approach to it isn't going to work) and i haven't the patience to try to get the lensbaby to cooperate tonight...

Do you think you're getting anything out of your Lensbaby trials? I'm very impressed that you're sticking with it because you seem to hate the damn things. ;)
@humphreyhippo to be honest, no. I'm not sure why i'm sticking with it - i guess i keep hoping that something will finally "click" - because after all, i do like to work with narrow DOF, hazy surrounds and soft light. And also, i hate to give in (although i don't think there is anything wrong in deciding that something isn't for you).
