cleared for take-off

ok... this is just getting silly... i don't like colour... it's never going to work for me except in the rarest of circumstances, most of which are serendipitous... i'm not entirely certain what poisonous mixture of colour landed me in this craptastic mess, but it's reasonably "orange" and it's going to have to do...
Looks distinctly radio-active (or something) but works for 'orange'.

Keep going back to look, has it taken off yet? The background would be lovely on its own!

@humphreyhippo tx... it's borderline... lensbaby drove me mad because i couldn't get it to take pictures i liked... colour is driving me mad because it is ruining pictures that i might otherwise like... i really really really prefer to work with light and shape and composition... colour's place in this mixture is dubious...

Light shade and composition... its all in here. Colour can be a complete distraction... which in real life (painting a wall, facial make-up, clothing, , camouflage, flowers attracting insects.. you name it) is its true function! Total deception! I'm currently using over-saturated colour on shots of dilapidated buildings in an attempt to show them in a 'better' light! To remind me, if no-one else, of the down to earth honesty of b&w! :-)
