this week for the Dogwood challenge we're supposed to do an "edge cut sun"... which is not a technique i had heard of before, however, it turns out it is something i often do... basically shooting into the sun with the sun partially obscured... the challenge had an added twist, which is to stop down the camera to allow for a sunburst effect...
i did try to do some "edge cut sun" shots this past week, but i didn't like any of the results... so i decided to try to replicate the effect in a set up shot... which didn't really work either... this is as close as i've got and it's just gonna have to do... my project, my rules ;p
